At 8:30 AM on May 11, 2020, the No. 1 gasifier of the Huiran Industry Gas Station Air Preheater Renovation Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Huiran Project") was successfully ignited, marking the successful completion of the project construction (the No. 2 gasifier had already been successfully ignited on April 23). Meng Guangjun, Deputy General Manager of ZHGAS, Liu Jiapeng, Chief Engineer, Han Peng, Engineering Director, and Zhao Xiao, Executive Vice General Manager of Jiangsu Huiran Industry Co., Ltd, attended the ignition ceremony.
The project was signed during the peak period of the domestic epidemic and a critical time for prevention and control. Due to the uncertainty of work resumption, significant difficulties arose in project procurement, personnel organization, and other tasks. To ensure smooth project progress, design professionals collaborated through online communication and video conferences to conduct customized renovation design for the unit. While replacing the new air preheater, they calculated and adjusted key parameters and optimized the process flow. The engineering department made early deployments, planned construction progress after commencement, and communicated with the procurement department regarding potential obstacles to equipment entry, preparing countermeasures.
On March 27, the Huiran Project officially commenced. The project team, considering actual site conditions, made overall arrangements and formulated a reasonable construction plan, implementing 24-hour shift work according to the time nodes of each process. Processes such as casting refractory lining for hot air pipes were carried out on the ground, with lifting and installation performed after low-temperature baking of the furnace. This not only saved construction time but also reduced the amount of work in high-altitude and confined spaces, ensuring relatively safer construction conditions.
On April 23, the renovation of the No. 2 gasifier was completed, and it was successfully ignited. All operational data after commissioning were superior to previous levels and exceeded acceptance standards. This significantly improved the thermal efficiency and gasification efficiency of the original coal gasification unit, genuinely achieving the goals of reducing energy consumption and increasing energy efficiency.
At the ignition ceremony, leaders of Huiran Industry expressed their sincere gratitude to ZHGAS for the excellent professionalism and extremely high work efficiency demonstrated during the project construction. They also presented a commendation banner inscribed with sixteen characters: "Advanced Technology, Efficient Management, Sincere Cooperation, Trustworthy," highly commending ZHGAS's exquisite process design capabilities, professional project management abilities, and high-quality service level.
