The Zhongke Juxin 5000 Nm3/h Coal-to-Clean Industrial Gas Project, the first milestone project in the industrial gas sector under the "Industrialization of Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal Gasification Technology" of the Hongguang Special Projects, completed its main engineering installation by the end of November. On December 4th, the project was ignited, entering the low-temperature baking and single-unit commissioning phase, with hot commissioning and operation expected by the end of December.
The Zhongke Juxin Project marks the first application of the novel circulating fluidized bed coal-to-clean industrial gas technology in the petroleum equipment industry. This will significantly help the industry reverse its long-standing reliance on fixed-bed gasification, which is characterized by high pollution and high costs. Compared to fixed-bed gasifiers, circulating fluidized bed coal gasification technology uses crushed coal with a particle size of 0-12mm as raw material, significantly reducing costs. It also offers clear advantages in terms of system power consumption and labor costs. Taking an annual operating time of 8,000 hours and a gas supply heat value of 54,000,000 kcal/h as an example: Raw coal cost savings: 34.66 million yuan/year; Electricity cost savings: 9.65 million yuan/year; Labor cost savings: 2.30 million yuan/year. Considering comprehensive consumption, labor, and fixed costs, compared to two-stage gasifiers, the cost per cubic meter of gas is reduced by 0.15 yuan/Nm3, leading to total annual cost savings of up to 54.00 million yuan/year.
Through this project, ZHGAS has gained practical experience across the entire business process, from design and procurement to engineering and construction, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale industrialization of the technology in the future. (Cong Zhong)
