As construction progresses, the Guizhou Hongsheng Synthetic Ammonia Fixed-Bed Gasification Section Renovation Project, undertaken by ZHGAS , has entered the intense DCS system commissioning phase. According to the work plan, on the afternoon of December 26, the Guizhou Hongsheng project department took the lead in organizing DCS system operation and maintenance training. A team of instructors, jointly formed by ZHGAS's electrical and instrumentation engineers and the DCS system manufacturer's instrumentation engineers, provided training to over ten people from the owner's side, including operators and maintenance workers. ZHGAS's Debugging and After-Sales Service Center assisted in executing related work.
To enable the owner to quickly familiarize themselves with the on-site equipment and processes and master the relevant operating systems, the project department had already arranged for the owner's operators to fully participate in and track the commissioning work during the preparation phase. Before this training, the owner's relevant staff had already gained a basic understanding of the entire circulating fluidized bed system's process flow and on-site equipment points.
ZHGAS's electrical and instrumentation engineers systematically introduced all aspects of the entire operating system and, based on their practical experience, explained the important parameters and adjustment methods for each segment, thoroughly yet simply explaining the operation procedures from principles to structure to control. The manufacturer's instrumentation engineers focused on interpreting relevant theoretical knowledge and, combined with the current status of in-service units, provided on-site explanations of typical problems and optimization strategies encountered in the operation and maintenance of systems like thermal control and safety protection, further achieving "seamless integration" between theoretical training and practical operation.
During the interactive session, the instructors carefully answered all questions raised by the participants, creating a warm learning atmosphere. After the interaction, the trainees consolidated their learned content through an operational assessment and all received passing evaluations. After this training, the participants proficiently mastered the routine operations of the control system, developed a profound and concrete understanding of the DCS control system, and are now qualified for the handover of commissioning work to the owner.
Currently, the DCS commissioning work for the Hongsheng project has concluded, and defect rectification for all disciplines is largely complete, making it ready for high-temperature oven baking and system startup. According to the owner's overall progress schedule, it is expected to commence operation and production within the year, adding brilliance to the company's performance in 2019.
