Safety in Action, Life Protection! ZHGAS Fire & Emergency Training Concludes Successfully!
To comprehensively enhance employees' ability to respond to emergencies and strengthen the line of defense for life safety, on July 18, ZHGAS successfully held a company-wide comprehensive safety training with the theme of "Fires are Ruthless, Fire Prevention Comes First". The training content not only covered fire-fighting skills (fire extinguishing, escape), but also included key first-aid knowledge (cardiopulmonary resuscitation, foreign body obstruction treatment, high-temperature first aid, etc.), providing all employees with a "safety and first-aid all-in-one package".
This activity adopted the linkage mode of "Beijing on-site practical operation + DingTalk live broadcast", breaking geographical restrictions and efficiently covering employees of Chaohu headquarters, Beijing branch and all subsidiaries. As "pioneers in actual combat", employees of the Beijing branch, after completing theoretical study in the second conference room of the branch, immediately went to the open space of the company building to focus on practical drills of fire extinguishers and observe first-aid skill demonstrations. At the same time, employees of Chaohu headquarters and subsidiaries across the country learned and interacted synchronously through the DingTalk live broadcast platform. The total number of participants online and offline reached more than 300, fully demonstrating the company's high attention and positive attitude towards employees' personal safety.

The theoretical training session focused on common risk points in work and life. The trainer showed everyone the methods to deal with oil pan and gas fires in family kitchens, escape routes and skills for high-rise office fires, and key steps for self-rescue when vehicles are wading. It systematically explained the golden time and operation process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for drowning, the Heimlich maneuver for handling foreign body choking in adults and children, and the identification and on-site first-aid measures for high-temperature heatstroke/syncope (such as cooling, rehydration, posture management). Through pictures, texts, videos and on-site operations, the trainer transformed professional first-aid knowledge into easy-to-understand and memorable operation points. The interaction between online and offline was enthusiastic, and there were many questions about first-aid details in the comment area, which effectively improved employees' "first response" ability to deal with accidental injuries.
The "real fire" drill was the highlight and the biggest attraction of this training. At the practical operation site of the Beijing branch, under the safety supervision and careful guidance of professionals, employees personally experienced the four-character formula of fire extinguisher operation: "lift, pull, hold, press", and successfully put out the simulated oil pan fire. Many employees excitedly shared after the operation: "Putting out a fire with my own hands feels so real! I will be much more confident if I encounter an emergency in the future!" Employees in other regions also clearly observed the entire process through high-definition live broadcast cameras and mastered the key operation points.

This fire-fighting training achieved remarkable results and met the expected goals: first, all employees' awareness of safety risk prevention and the concept of "safety first" were strengthened; second, core emergency knowledge was popularized, and employees not only consolidated their fire emergency capabilities, but also systematically learned primary first-aid knowledge for common emergencies such as drowning, suffocation, and heatstroke; third, the corporate safety culture atmosphere of "learning safety, understanding safety, and being able to ensure safety" became stronger, and "safety is everyone's responsibility" became a broad consensus; fourth, the "online + offline" mixed training mode was successfully practiced, accumulating valuable experience for future activities.
In the future, ZHGAS will continue to make efforts, carry out various forms of safety publicity and education activities, consolidate and deepen the training results, and constantly strengthen the line of defense for safe production. At the same time, it calls on all employees to truly apply what they have learned and realized in this training to daily work and family life, always keep the safety string tight, continuously improve safety literacy, and earnestly assume the role of "first responsible person" for their own safety!
